This is where we took a break to eat lunch. It's called Panorama Point and has a view of Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Hood and of course, Mt. Rainier.
Matthew created some songs as we hiked. My personal favorite was entitled "The hiking beauty." No, he wasn't talking about me, but about the beauty of creation around us. :)
Another romp in a snow field! I captured a great moment when Patrick got pelted by a snowball from Matthew.
There are lots of beautiful waterfalls along the trail. Here Patrick and Joshua make one even more beautiful! :)
WOW! We are going to have to come out in the summer next year. The roads were so bad on our trip to Rainier that most of them were closed. Beautiful pics. I think Matthew is going to take after his dad and be a composer.
ReplyDeleteBy the way...how in the world can it be 14 years? Congratulations.
ReplyDeleteOur anniversary is coming up-it will be our 30th, that is crazy to think about, too. (Now your friends are going to start doing the math with how old you are and how many years Kyle and I have been married and come to the wrong conclusion haha).
What handsome boys you have. I can't get over how beautiful the mountains are- I would LOVE to live that close to some of the best hiking in the country. Lucky ducks. : )
ReplyDeleteWe'll definitely have to try to do a summer trip next year so Elijah and Gideon can enjoy all that snow. How neat is that??
Great pictures... you should definitely frame some of those.
And congratulations on 14 years! I can't believe it... but then again I can't believe I've been married 4 years.
Oh, and I got a kick out of your comment, Mom. ha!
what an awesome family picture up there in the mountains. Looks like you all had a very fun anniversary!
