Both boys are taking piano lessons once a week and have a wonderful teacher! She has all kinds of fun music games set up for the boys to play. They have only had two lessons so far and have already learned so much! They come home excited to show me what they've learned and Matthew ropes all our guests in to hear a demonstration of his piano skills. You can hear him chanting, "Quarter, quarter, quarter, half-note!" :)

Piano, tae kwon do, baseball (well, I guess that's over)... these boys are going to be quite the renaissance men! : ) I bet you're glad to have volume control unlike what Mom had to put up with when we practiced. Ha!
Tell them I'll be waiting for a recital when I see them next.
Thank you for such an encouraging comment. What a wonderful sister you are!!
I just read Erin's blog. What in the world is going on? pokeman cards, spongbob, ninja turtles???? People are so legalistic but I never thought they would be in the woodwork out in liberal country.
I'm glad you girls (sorry, women)have your heads on straight and don't get caught up in trying to measure up to other people's ideas of right and wrong. YAY, for you both. This is one proud Mama!
In regard to your blog you guys are going to be really busy. I'm glad the boys have so many interests-hope you make it.
Sorry, your Dad came in and got me distracted while I was writing the other comment...The pictures are great. I'm so glad you do this so I can see how much they are growing and changing. The picture of you and Patrick was really good too. Love ya
That is hard to say. I love her children's books like "Many Waters" about Noah's day. "A Wrinkle in Time" is a scifi type and I am not sure you would like it. I do recommend "An Acceptable Time" which takes place 3000 years ago.
Of the Crosswicks Journals (which are not children's books), I think my favorite is "A Circle of Quiet". The public library should have the children's books but I'm not sure about the Crosswicks Journal. Maybe since you are in a larger place it will. If you want to wait before you buy the Journals I can bring them in if I get to come and you can return them next time you guys get to come in.
I like the look of the new blog too. It looks so much better than the xanga.
I'm waiting on a birthday post!
