This blog is for you, Mom! See my two lovely blackberry pies? We are going to enjoy them tonight with FRENCH vanilla ice cream. Mmm--mmmm!! LOL!
And here are pictures of Joshua and Patrick enjoying the fruits of their labor. Yep. They picked all the blackberries so I could make the pies for them. Did I mention that part to Dad? If not, it might be worth mentioning. :)

So, let me get this straight...you all go camping...with queen size air mattresses...Patrick does all the cooking...Patrick and the boys pick the blackberries (while you read a book)and all you have to do is bake two pies? Not a bad deal all the way around.
Seriously, they look delicious (and so pretty) and Patrick and Joshua certainly seem to be enjoying the fruit of your labor. Where is Matthew by the way? Didn't he like blackberry pie?
I'll show the pictures to Dad, he is really going to be impressed and drooling.
I'm drooling! You're going to have to bake some pies with me next time we're together... I've yet to tackle a fruit pie. They look delicious and I am very impressed!
