Ninja Halloween

The boys picked a ninja theme this Halloween. Joshua was a "real" ninja and Matthew was a Ninja Turtle. They trick or treated at Microsoft and then came home and joined up with their neighborhood pals. They ended up with too much candy of course, so my back door neighbor introduced me to the Switch Witch. She is a kindly witch who is a cousin to the Tooth Fairy, and she comes at night and trades all the candy for a toy. In Matthew and Joshua's case, she left Pokemon cards and organizer pages so they can arrange their cards in a notebook. Good deal!

Those are some awesome costumes!! They look great! I've tried to talk Elijah into the Switch Witch, but he's just not so sure. I'm glad your boys went for it. : )

Those really are great costumes! I still want to know what the switch witch does with all that candy.

Well, the non-chocolate candies that won't melt have been stashed in our Operation Christmas Child boxes. As for the chocolate candies...well, um, er, you know.

Oh, I will definitely have my camera with me! You'll have to scope out some good spots before I get there. We'll take an afternoon just for that. I'm keeping my eye out for those $10 tickets, but there are still dates that haven't been posted. I really hope I can get them! I would head out right now if I could!
